the skies opened up to a light drizzle,
outside it's dark
and i like how it is now
with a little rumble
and how the lightning shines a light
for a fleeting few seconds

i love how it is when it rains like that
but i wish we could predict when it is gonna rain
and when it's gonna stop raining
cos then i can decide what to wear for the day

i miss perth
i wish i can get to melbourne sometime in july
it will be fun
much more fun than last year
cos we're closer now

this kind of weather always reminds me
of the beautiful days in perth last year
the finger biting cold
and the heartwarming homecooked meals

let's go away
to somewhere without worries
without the hectic routine of life
with the best of people
and the best of life
