i sometimes miss those days when things weren't so digital.
digital cameras
digital clocks
digital watches

they shake off the fun of not knowing, guessing, having to think for 3 seconds before telling the time. now everything's instant. we even have instant laksa, instant mashed potatoes. slowly we begin to like those instant maggie mashed potatoes you get from 7eleven more than those you get from KFC. we forget how the most original of foods taste like. we forget the things we used to like and we get used to new things. instant things.

maybe the future will bring us instant heartbreaks and instant renewal. everything happens in an instant. there's no more processes. no more lessons learnt. no time even. to face regrets.

the day when digitals and instants fill up the world and threatens to burst like a balloon. i hope i am no longer on the face of this earth.
