it vibrates and lets out a soft tinkle. my heart lurches forward a little as i reach for it. few taps and i cover 4/5 of the screen leaving the part where the name appears. just to see who it is. anticipation. and when i see what i wish to see. i smile. remove my fingers and read what has been sent. sweet. this is what thrills me each day. do you feel the same as i do?

and as i bury my head in work and occasional (okay, frequent) neopets indulgence, it is always a pleasant surprise when i see my most anticipated window pop up filled with bold blue typings. (: this thrills me too. do you feel the same as i do?

and when it vibrates and plays a tune so familiar and different from the rest, i smile in anticipation of hearing the sweet melody on the other end of the line. thrills. do you feel the same as i do?

so i read and re-read. play and replay. all these things running through my head.

suddenly monday doesn't seem as blue as it was anymore.

(: if you only knew how much you mean to me.
