it's always easy when things are simple. friendships that keep to their boundaries, when people around are but acquainted friends. when the emotional attachment is low, there's really nothing much to be concerned about.

it is times when you begin to get emotionally attached to someone, that you begin to ponder on alot of issues. there are bound to be things we can never understand, and things that we could never find reasons for. the more you give, the more you get afraid. often we find ourselves taking a huge step forward, and then quickly taking three steps back. because we are afraid to venture, scared of new things. they thrill us, excite us, but they scare us the most.

a brave man would venture further, and eventually find his answers. but often, ignorance is bliss cos there are answers that we seek, yet we wouldn't want to know. and those who are afraid to venture will never find, the answers in their hearts. so should we be brave or should we lose fight?

it is so easy to lose an acquaintance, a friend or lover, through minute, unimportant differences. yet there are things when lost, can never be found again. i guess the most regretful thing would be to lose something important without knowing how significant it is to you, and realising only too late that you've lost a treasure and can never get it back again. seen too many instances, known too many who regret...

are all feelings temporary? i refuse to believe so. why do people fall in and out so easily and why do they subject themselves to regrets and yet never once tried to change? so many things happening around me, so many to-be-regrets. i wish i could somehow stop it all but i have no say and no right. because it all lies in the hands of the ones who are involved and only they can turn the seas and change the tides. if they want too. they can, if they want to.

"The aspects of things that are most important to us are hidden because of their simplicity and familiarity." -Wittgenstein.

got the above from bin's blog. so damn true.
