Came across this just awhile ago while surfing for valuable quotes that teach us something about life.
“Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too--even when you’re in the dark. Even when you’re falling.”
I guess a lot of times, in fact most of the time, we feel obstructed from the shield we put up against others. How true, this quote, it speaks of how we often have to use our hearts and trust our feelings instead of just facts, seeing is not believing, belief is not by sight but by heart.
It’s with the bigger risks that we’re willing to take, that we reap bigger returns. Similarly, bigger risks bring about bigger downfalls as well, but if we keep optimistic, I guess we just learn from those downfalls and relish in the returns.
Since I’m on the topic of risks and life, here’s another quote I found:
“I traded lots of dreams for a bigger paycheck, and I never realized I was doing it,”
How sad it must be, to trade all your dreams for money. Money buys some materialistic happiness, but money can’t buy pure joy and I always believe that happiness is associated with true love. And true enough, love can never be bought, no matter how hard you try. So the next time you’re about to decide to get on with another job because of the bigger paycheck, think again. You may gain a substantial amount, but what will you lose? The opportunity costs may outweigh that of your gains by an even bigger margin. (oh, this sounds so economics.)
On another note, today, something just proved to me yet again that it never pays to be nice. There should be a rule set that niceness returns niceness and meanness returns meanness and we should never be blamed for being mean to those who are to us. We should reap what we sow, shouldn’t we? But oh well, life’s never fair.
I'll be your dream
I 'll be your wish
I'll be your fantasy.
I'll be your hope
I'll be your love
Be everything that you need.
I love you more with every breath
Truly madly deeply do..
I will be strong I will be faithful
'Cos I'm counting on a new beginning.
A reason for living.
A deeper meaning.
