nothing beats being right next to you. (:

been on a short hiatus here cos i've been so strangled by work and caught up in all the things that's been happening in my life that i've simply no time and no brain juices left to type in here. (: hehe, but i'm back, well and kicking and alive.

i had the best valentine's day in my life. who said vday needs to be decorated with expensive gifts, flowers and the weirdest surprises? my vday was the greatest just chilling out and having a relaxed night out. it's not the things, it's the company. (: and i had the bestest person in the whole wide world right by my side. what more can i ask for?

school's coming to an end for the second year of my course and i'm so damn glad. i just can't wait for tomorrow to end and i'll be a damn happy girl. (:

life is always so full of surprises and somehow there are certain things that never fail to astonish me even though a part of me expects it. and somehow i always think it's bad to have expectations in life cos when things fall short of your expectations, you'll be sadder than if you didn't expect anything in the first place. but life's like that, we always expect things and we are always trying to rise to others' expectations of us. guess we shouldn't try so hard to meet others' expectations of ourselves and forget who we really are. and i guess we should think about our expectations of ourselves and how we want to rise up to them.

wanted to sleep early tonight but then it's already almost 2am again. sigh i never succeed in sleeping early these days. but on a lighter note, my room is spick and span! yay!

often we cower in a delusional optimism so misleading that we smile and laugh at the stupidest thing but find ourselves frowning at the things that matter the most to us because our optimism is just a front. there's a pessimist in every optimist. just as they say, there's a lesbian in every woman. =P
