love is not blind,
it sees more, not less.
But because it sees more,
it's willing to see less.

what an apt description. when people do the most crazy things out of affections for their certain somebody, we always begin to utter the words "love is blind". but i guess that utterance portrays sheer ignorance or oblivion to the simple fact. that is "Love is not blind, it sees more, not less. But because it sees more, it's willing to see less." i like this analogy of love alot. so simple, so sweet. i don't like complications.

you know with life there are always choices. most of us are not born spiritually, emotionally or mentally blind. being "blind" is a choice, not an obligation. how blind can one be or get? if there was a choice, maybe most people would choose to be blind rather than to see. ignorance is bliss, ain't it? yet the choice that we all face is not whether we are blind or not, it's whether or not we want to see the most yet utter the least. things with choices are always the hardest.

hahaha. it's kinda funny sometimes, the way that i am. just two sentences of a quote and i can rattle on and on. see, it's proof that i'm not complicated, just a deep thinker, that's all. i love to think up analogies of life. and i love to look at things from different perspectives. i like people with strong and eccentric views. and i admire people who dare to be different. of course we'd have to be rebels with a cause and not just rebels who wreck unwanted havoc. rebels with a cause. i remember this from what my jc principal used to preach about tjc students. yet i remember she used to say it too often but never put those words into action. saying it is nothing. i remember how disappointed i was when i realised what that principal used to promise was all but empty words. those high talks that ended up nowhere. it was always still studies first and everything to the back. maybe that's why i left jc.

i suddenly feel wiser today.

indeed,
because it sees more,
it's willing to see less. (:
