hunger. are you really hungry because you need the food? or are you really just hungry because you want the food? what if what you want isn't what you need, or what you need isn't what you want. would you rather do what you want than what you need, or choose to just fulfil your needs and ignore your wants? and if what you want and what you need are the same, wouldn't it be so nice?

yesterday i witnessed something sweet. simple but sweet. and it made me realise the simple facts of life that count. and as i always believe, it's the little things that count. like i always believe, simple things are what require the most efforts and yet are mostly unseen and gone unnoticed. the people who appreciate you for the simple things that you do, are the people who care the most about you. they notice. (:

and i begin to wonder how there are so many out there who try so hard, so very hard to read my every action. they try and fail but never cease to try again and again. yet they always get back to where they started. and yet there's a single rose amongst these trees that has risen amongst the thorns. i used to think i was complicated. but how can my thoughts be so easily deciphered?

there are so many things to think about, so many things to do each day. sometimes i just feel like resting and not doing or thinking about a single thing. like today. (: on a lighter note, school's ending in 3 weeks followed by study break and exams and wheeeee, we're free! then there'll be less frustrating things to think about and i can spend more time on thinking about nicer, cuter things, like you. =P

you never know what a smile can do
laughter that rings a song in my heart
you never know the things you do
turns the whole world around
